Business requirements & challenges
Disparate inventory, order, and billing platforms made it impossible to maintain a unified view of customer circuits and orders. Acquisitions had layered in further data discrepancies.
Solution
Built a Revenue Assurance Framework using Informatica PowerCenter ETL across Oracle and SQL Server databases. Reconciled ~13K customer sites, ~35K circuit records, and ~6MN data points across 30 systems. Automated reporting accelerated discrepancy identification, while process controllers monitored revenue opportunities continuously.
Business benefits
Identified and plugged revenue leakage; recovered missed construction and install NRC charges; eliminated unjustified vendor charges.
